The framed 8×10 Carolina Hurricanes celebration shot photo has been personally autographed by Hurricanes defenseman Dougie Hamilton. This picture was taken during the Carolina Hurricanes versus New York Islanders game on October 4, 2018 at PNC arena in Raleigh, North Carolina. This would be Hamilton’s first game in a Hurricanes uniform. Trailing 1-0 going into the third Hamilton would help tie the game at one by blasting a slap shot from the point and have it redirected by Centreman Jordan Staal to send the game to OT. In OT the Hurricanes came out short, but Hamilton had a strong Hurricanes debut; playing a solid 18 minutes, he earned his first point in the uniform while finishing with a total of 5 shots on goal. Dougie Hamilton began his NHL career when he was drafted ninth overall in the 2011 NHL Draft by the Boston Bruins.
