Habs beat the Islanders last night to end their 8 game win-less streak, which was their longest skid in 16 years, and that futile streak was also a Claude Julien production. Lucky for Montreal they had Islanders in town who rank 25th in the NHL in goals-for-game on the road this season.
Auston Matthews after last nights game said the team quit. The third period was horrendous for the Leafs, allowing 5 goals. Matthews has 0G in his last 4 games. Toronto at it again tonight, they are 1-5-1 in game 2 when playing on back2back days. The win came last week with the Sabres home & home.
Everybody loves to see power rankings. Yesterday I saw one for the NFL that had the Cowboys at 4 and the Bills at 14. Did a Dallas fan put the list together? Buffalo won easily in Dallas last week.
